Snapshots from US History

This course will find us using readings in American History to learn academic vocabulary and grammar. Each Unit of the course will last approximately 4 weeks. In each one we will study the academic vocabulary and grammar we find, as well as completing a variety of other assignments.

Unit 1 - Forming and Expanding the Nation
Unit 2 - Civil War and Reconstruction
Unit 3 - Moving West
Unit 4 - War and Rumors of War
